This year’s open enrollment period will be from April 26, 2011 through May 26, 2011. It is the time of year when all eligible faculty and staff may enroll for benefit coverage, change existing benefit coverage, or cancel current coverage. We want to stress the importance of paying close attention to notices and information provided during this year’s open enrollment since there will be changes related to federal health care reform.
The rates for the new plan year have not been finalized, but will be available at the end of the current legislative session. Open enrollment packets will be delivered to the HR Department. We will notify departmental payroll representatives when open enrollment materials are available for pick up. In the meantime, the HR Department will be sending out notices regarding open enrollment changes and planned events.
