Preparation of Proposals to the National Endowment for the Humanities (4/29)

The Office of the Vice President for Research announces “Preparation of Proposals to the National Endowment for the Humanities,” a free grant-writing workshop for faculty and staff, presented by Ralph Pollack, Associate Vice President for Research, Friday, April 29, noon-3 p.m. in LIB 216M.

This workshop builds on the material covered in workshop #020 (“Fundamentals of Proposal Preparation”) and includes methods to tailor proposals to meet the specific requirements of the NEH.

Topics include:

  • Designing the Narrative
  • The NEH Review Process
  • The NEH Evaluation Criteria
  • Finding the Right Funding Mechanism
  • Writing a Fellowship Proposal
  • Capturing the Reviewers’ Attention
  • Proposal Writing Strategies

A light lunch will be served.
