Women’s Basketball Claims First-Ever America East Regular-Season Title

The UMBC women’s basketball team defeated Albany by a score of 62-55 on February 23 at the RAC Arena to claim its first-ever America East regular-season title. The win is the sixth straight for the Retrievers, who will be the top seed in the America East Championship in West Hartford, Connecticut, and will face the winner of the first-round game between Stony Brook and Maine on Friday, March 4.
