Anne Rubin, assistant professor of history, discussed “Lincoln and the Myths of the Southern Secession” on “The Advocates,” a program on WVOX radio in New York.

Rubin discussed common beliefs about the Civil War—such as the idea that the war began over the issue of slavery—and identified what is true and false in those commonly held myths.
