UMBC men’s soccer assistant coach Anthony Adams was named one of the top 20 assistant coaches in the nation by College Soccer News.
Adams, who is in his 14th season at UMBC, helped guide the Retrievers to their first-ever America East championship and a berth in the NCAA Tournament this fall. UMBC, which posted a 12-4-4 overall record and went unbeaten in its final eight contests, defeated 10th-ranked Princeton in the first round, then played William and Mary to a scoreless draw before falling in penalty kicks.
