Christopher Corbett, English, Continues Speaking Tour

Christopher Corbett, professor of the practice of English, gave a lecture to a standing-room only crowd at the Oregon Historical Society on January 23. Corbett discussed the pony express and the Chinese in the Old West, the subjects of his books “Orphans Preferred” and “The Poker Bride,” answered questions and signed books.

Corbett’s next two appearances will be at the Idaho Chinese History and Cultural Symposium on February 5, where he will be the keynote speaker, and at Chicago’s Green Apple Books bookstore on February 23.
