The President’s Commission for Women (PCW) is currently accepting nominations for its annual achievement award to be presented at the Presidential Faculty and Staff Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, April 6.
In addition to being honored at the ceremony, the recipient will receive a plaque and $500 to be used for educational purposes.
Nominations are open to all UMBC students, staff, and faculty who:
- Provide exceptional service to the University and/or wider community;
- Work to promote understanding among people of different groups, cultures, and socioeconomic backgrounds;
- Advocate for the elimination of gender inequality.
