Don Norris, Public Policy, in the Baltimore Sun

In “Rawlings-Blake Blows Past Competition in Early Fundraising,” Don Norris, professor and chair of public policy, commented on how Stephanie Rawlings-Blake has managed to raise $842,000 for her Baltimore mayoral campaign so quickly and suggested, “Unless there’s some major debacle between now and September, I see Stephanie Rawlings-Blake winning hands down.” Current Mayor Rawlings-Blake has raised more than three times that of her nearest potential opponent, State Senator Catherine Pugh, who has $252,000 cash on hand. Former city planning director Otis Rolley, whose campaign generated significant attention with a fundraiser featuring Bill Cosby, has $106,000 in his account.

The story appeared January 20 in the Baltimore Sun.
