CASTLE, in the Catonsville Times and the Arbutus Times

A reporter for the Catonsville Times and the Arbutus Times wrote about a $300,000 contribution from Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) that will support the new CASTLE facility in the College of Natural and Mathematical Sciences (CNMS).

CASTLE—the College of Natural and Mathematical Sciences Active Science Teaching and Learning Environment—is designed to encourage active learning in introductory math and science classes.

“The goal is to create an environment where students can learn in the most effective way,” CNMS Dean Philip Rous says in the story.
