After 40 years of distinguished service to UMBC, Pat Cronise will retire on December 22. As many of you know, she began her work at UMBC as a clerk typist in 1970. She worked in several library departments over the years, but settled into the Slide Library in 1980. She guided many through the slides collection over the years and presided over the project to digitize the slides. Now that the digitization is nearly completed, she is more often in the Library Media department. It has been a pleasure to work with her and she will be greatly missed.
