Staff, Faculty and TAs Needed for Alternative School Break

The Office of Student Life and the Alternative School Break program are looking for staff member, faculty or TA interested in becoming a learning partner for one of this spring’s Alternative School Break trips. We are currently looking for a learning partner for our Environmental trip, March 20-27. The trip leader is Jesse Crow.

A learning partner can be anyone at or above the graduate level who is currently employed by the university, such as staff, faculty, TAs, lab techs, etc. An undergraduate student employed by the university will not be considered for the learning partner position. Learning partners’ trip fees are covered. Our mission is to provide service immersion trips for all students and staff, faculty and TAs at UMBC.

If you are interested, contact the trip leader, Jesse Crow or Benjamin Davis at bdavis4@umbc.edu. We would love to continue with this trip this year, but if we have no learning partner the trip might be canceled.
