Kenny Eichelman ’14, history, was present at a party for Boy Scout Troop 307’s anniversary, where 31 current members and alumni ranging in age from 11 to 86 celebrated the troop’s 81st anniversary. The troop chose to celebrate its 81st anniversary in honor of the fact that its 81st member, Eichelman, will become an Eagle Scout this year. Nationally, only about five percent of Boy Scouts become Eagle Scouts.
Eichelman said that meeting the alumni scouts and seeing artifacts from their time in the club appealed to his interest in history, but that meeting the younger scouts made him realize he seemed old to them.
