Jessica Berman, English, Elected to ACLA Board

Jessica Berman, associate professor and chair of English, was recently elected to the advisory board of the American Comparative Literature Association (ACLA). The ACLA is the primary association for the discipline of comparative literature, and its members teach and write across nations, languages and cultures. The ACLA comprises about 2,000 members, and the 10-member advisory board includes representatives from institutions such as Columbia, Yale and UCLA.
