Donald Norris, Public Policy, in the Baltimore Sun

Donald Norris, professor and chair of public policy, appeared this weekend on the front page of the Baltimore Sun, commenting on campaign finance in the Maryland governor’s race. In “O’Malley outspent Ehrlich by nearly $3 million,” Norris notes, “That $3 million made a lot of difference.” He suggests that although Ehrlich ran a much shorter campaign, he should have been able to raise a more funds than he did. Todd Eberly, who received his Ph.D. from UMBC and is now at St. Mary’s College of Maryland, also provides expert commentary in the article, arguing “[Ehrlich] made the classic mistake of letting his opponent… define him.”
