The Armenian Assembly of America (Assembly) recently discussed the lessons of the Armenian Genocide with students from the Dulaney High School chapter of STAND, a student anti-genocide coalition dedicated to putting an end to genocide in Darfur and elsewhere.
Russell Spinney, history instructor, joined students of the Dulaney High School STAND chapter to discuss ancient Armenian civilization, the history and lessons of the Armenian Genocide and the importance of genocide education and awareness in order to prevent future genocides.
The article, “Armenian Assembly of America Joins With ‘STAND’ to Discuss Lessons From the Armenian Genocide,” appeared November 19 on Public Radio of Armenia.
