Alternative Spring Break (ASB) is a series of week-long, student-run service immersion trips designed to challenge students and combat civic issues underlying larger societal concerns such as homelessness, health care and the environment. It is a great way to get to know other students at UMBC, while making a difference.
Applications are open until midnight Sunday, December 12. Apply online at umbc.edu/umbcserves and click on the Alternative School Break link on the left hand side of the website.
If you have any questions about a specific trip, email Dustin Hogenson at dustinh1@umbc.edu or Ben Davis at bdavis4@umbc.edu.
