Margaret Kott ’11, biology, and Anna Shields, director of the Honors College, were among the many participants in this year’s Race for the Cure. Bridie Flynn ’11, president of Colleges Against Cancer, Irma Hashmi ’12, vice president and Regina Ulis ’11, treasurer, recruited participants for the race and organized carpooling.
Kott is the founder of Colleges Against Cancer, a nationwide collaboration of students, faculty and staff dedicated to eliminating cancer and furthering the mission of the American Cancer Society.
