UMBC gerontology Ph.D. students Sarah Canham and Leanne Clark-Shirley were recognized in this month’s Gerontology News for coordinating the multi-year Gerontologists Giving Back Service Event volunteer program. They will partner with the St. Bernard Project to help repair homes for senior citizens, people with disabilities and families with children in New Orleans this November.
