In her 20 years of service to UMBC, Andrea Spratt has been a central figure in student academic success at UMBC. Friends and colleagues are invited to celebrate her career, which involved a passion for teaching students how to succeed in mathematics at any level, a dedication to retention programs and a strong commitment to the goals and work of the Learning Resources Center (LRC). The celebration will be held Friday, November 5, 4-6 p.m., in the Skylight Room in the Commons.
