After 40 years of distinguished service to UMBC, Karen Wensch will retire on Monday, November 1. During her career at UMBC, Karen has supported the education department, the Academic Vice President’s Office, the Provost’s Office, and since 1992 she has served as the senior executive administrative assistant to the president.
Karen has worked effectively with members of the campus leadership, faculty, staff and students. Her work has significantly supported UMBC’s growth and development. Throughout the years, she has given tirelessly of herself, dedicating her professional career to the University.
Join the President’s Office at a reception to thank Karen and to celebrate her many years of service to the campus. We will gather on Wednesday, October 20, 3-5 p.m., in the Skylight Room in The Commons.
