Elizabeth Chacko, associate professor and chair of the Department of Geography and International Affairs at the George Washington University, will speak at the Geography and Environmental Systems Seminar on Wednesday, September 15, at noon in Room 001 of Sondheim Hall. Chacko’s talk is entitled, “New Immigrants and Old Neighborhoods: Traversing Tensions in the Washington Metropolitan Area.”
