President Freeman Hrabowski, Provost Elliot Hirshman and Dean John Jeffries invite the UMBC community to join them and Governor Martin O’Malley for a reception and ceremonial groundbreaking for the new Performing Arts and Humanities Building at the construction site near the north end of the Fine Arts Building on Friday, September 17. The reception is at 2:30 p.m. with remarks and groundbreaking to follow at 3 p.m.
