Taylor Teske ’11, ancient studies, was awarded the AA-1 Scholarship by the University of Maryland Alumni Association-International, Inc.
Teske has been the recipient of the Zdenek and William and Barbara Christopher Awards, both given by the Department of Ancient Studies. He used the latter award to work at the excavations of Roman Heraclea Lyncestis in the Former Yugoslavian Republic of Macedonia. His current research project is on influence of the history of Julius Caesar on Shakespeare and on John Wilkes Booth.
