Art Johnson, Political Science, in Catonsville Times

Affordability versus quality and research versus teaching were among the topics discussed by Art Johnson, former provost, in his August 11 talk to the Catonsville Rotary-Sunrise Club. He said higher education institutions such as UMBC and the Community College of Baltimore County, with its Catonsville campus on South Rolling Road, are economic powers in the area. “Accessible institutions of higher education signal that the American Dream is available to all of us,” Johnson said.

The article, “Catonsville Connection to CCBC and UMBC Topic of Talk,” ran August 24 in the Catonsville Times.
