Joe Tropea, ’06 History B.A. and ’08 Historical Studies M.A., on WBAL-TV

The “Catonsville Nine” war protest has sparked films and documentaries since it happened in May 1968. Two Baltimore filmmakers, including Joe Tropea ’06 History B.A. and ’08 Historical Studies M.A., are putting their own spin on what happened in a new documentary about the incident.

“Hit And Stay,” documents the incident and how it sparked other similar war protests across the country.  The filmmakers have been working on the film for about three years.
