Kristen Anchor, the first director of Creative Alliance Movie Makers, has spent the past nine years establishing CAmm as a regional trademark for adventurous moviemaking. As Creative Alliance cofounder and program director Megan Hamilton puts it, “She walked to the back of our then headquarters, set up her office in a ramshackle shed, wired up all her own gear — and got going. Kristen Anchor has made CAmm a central force, a community, and a lynchpin in the burgeoning Baltimore film scene.”
Anchor will begin her M.F.A. this fall at UMBC.
