Jessica Hammond, assistant athletic director for academic services, has been named region I director for the National Association of Academic Advisors for Athletics (N4A). The purpose of N4A is to empower student-athletes to become more productive individuals through educational and personal development. As region I director, Hammond will act as a liaison between Region I and the board of directors for N4A. She will also be responsible for coordinating regional conferences and working with various parties on new NCAA legislation. “As we’re meeting the needs of student-athletes, we’re developing as professionals to ensure success,” Hammond said.
