Professor of Psychology Robert Provine was featured in a leading German magazine Der Spiegel along with German publication Frankfurter Allgemeine. Both articles concern the first world conference about yawning held in Paris a few weeks ago. Provine was quoted as the founder and leading researcher on modern yawn research. This breakthrough research was conducted at UMBC with the assistance of undergraduate students.
