Robert Deluty, associate dean of the graduate school, has published a new book of poetry and prose, Invisible Keepsakes. In his review, Professor Joseph L. DeVitis writes, “Like Robert Frost, Deluty begins his poems with delight and then carries us on brief, bountiful journeys toward wisdom. He peels away our outworn facades, paring them to bare, yet profound essentials. His poetry adroitly expresses joy, pain, despair, and love. Ultimately, he gives us the gift of life in cameo form– silvery mementos no longer kept out of sight.”
Copies of Invisible Keepsakes, as well as of Deluty’s other books, are on sale at the UMBC Bookstore.
