Sue Minkoff, Mathematics and Statistics, Speaks at Coalition for National Science Funding Exhibition on Capitol Hill

Sue Minkoff, associate professor of mathematics and statistics, represented the American Mathematical Society at the annual Coalition for National Science Funding (CNSF) Exhibition on Capitol Hill held April 14. Minkoff presented her work on two different application problems which are modeled at least in part by the wave equation. Her exhibit was titled “Industrial Modeling and Simulation:  The Wave of the Future” and provided attendees with information on these highly collaborative projects involving faculty and students at UMBC and other institutions.
