After 30 years of distinguished service to UMBC, Karen Sweeney-Jett retired on April 1, 2010. Throughout her years at UMBC, Karen served in numerous offices including the departments of Biological Sciences and Computer Science, as well as the President’s Office. For more than fifteen years, Karen has been a key member of the Office of Institutional Advancement. Karen was an active leader in the nNon-Exempt Excluded Staff Senate and gave extraordinary time and energy in support of the UMBC community.
