We are fast approaching the end of this year’s open enrollment period (4/28) and just wanted to send out a few reminders:
* Spending Accounts: if you are enrolled in a health care or dependent care spending account and wish to continue the coverage, you must renew your spending account.
* Employees Enrolled as of March 5: if you wish to make a change in coverage or renew a spending account, you must use the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system. The IVR system will remain available until 11:59 p.m. on April 28. A confirmation statement will be issued for any changes made via the IVR system. If you do not wish to make any changes to your existing coverage, simply write “NO CHANGES” on the yellow open enrollment form, sign, date and return the form to the Human Resources Department.
* Employees Not Enrolled as of March 5: if changes are desired, you must complete a blank open enrollment form and submit it to the Human Resources Department no later than 2 p.m. on April 28. A confirmation statement will be issued for any changes made in coverage. If you do not wish to make changes to your existing coverage, you need not take any action.
* Effective Dates: Coverage for the new plan year will be in effect July 1, 2010, through June 30, 2011.
