The Career Services Center is creating partnerships with academic departments, including workshops for humanities and social sciences students to help market themselves. When the economy took a downturn, Career Services Center Director Anne Scholl-Fiedler called liberal arts departments on campus and offered help. Working with the history, English and political science departments, career services experts have been spending time in the classroom with students and assigning homework. One focus is helping students create a personal brand that highlights strengths.
