Professor of the Practice of English Christopher Corbett will be speaking Saturday, April 17, 12:30 p.m., at the Annapolis Book Festival about his two books on the 19th century American West – “Orphans Preferred: The Twisted Truth and Lasting Legend of the Pony Express” (Random House/Broadway Books) and “The Poker Bride: The First Chinese in the Wild West” (Atlantic Monthly).
