President Freeman Hrabowski, in the Baltimore Sun

Kurt Schmoke, the former mayor of Baltimore and dean of the Howard Law School, wrote a column discussing the gap in minority student performance, especially in math and science. Schmoke spotlights one shining example, a Baltimore County Public Schools program known as Project SEED. The column includes a reference to President Hrabowski.

The column, “All students can learn advanced math — with the right teacher,” ran Monday, April 5 in the Baltimore Sun.
