@bwtech in the Catonsville Times

@bwtech grew a little larger March 30 with the opening of a business incubator to host start-up companies developing environmentally friendly fuels and energy technologies. The 18,000 square foot Maryland Clean Energy Technology Incubator at @bwtech is a partnership between the university, the quasi-governmental Maryland Clean Energy Center and the Baltimore County Department of Economic Development. “It is funded by a $75,000 grant from Baltimore County Department of Economic Development for an ‘entrepreneur in residence’ who will provide the businesses with mentorship,” said Deborah Shapiro, marketing manager.

The article, “Green start-up firms a growth area at UMBC,” ran April 7 in the Catonsville Times.
