Trauma Through the Lifespan (4/12)

Psi Chi Psychology Honors Society will host guest speaker E. Diane Champé, who will present Trauma Through the Lifespan: a personal account of her struggle with and recovery from an abusive childhood. In this presentation, Champé uses photographs and art work to share the long-term effects of child abuse and neglect. She describes the horrific childhood she endured which she was forced to keep a secret and relates the terrible psychiatric damage it caused.

This event will be Monday, April 12, 7-9 p.m., in the Administration Building, Lecture Hall 3.

  1. Hi, I see your having a forum on child abuse and how it affects those who endured it. I write a blog about my childhood abuse and how my life has been affected by it.

    I write my memories in a no holds barred and brutal style as that is what child abuse is all about.
