Robert Deluty, Graduate School, Publishes his 25th Book

Robert Deluty, associate dean of the graduate school, has published a new book of poetry, titled "Waiting for the Echo." In his review, Richard Berlin writes, "In ‘Waiting for the Echo,’ Robert Deluty’s special ability to catch us being human is on full display. A remarkably perceptive people-watcher, Deluty’s cast of characters includes Nobel Laureates, royalty, athletes, brides and grooms, kindergartners, Auschwitz survivors and grandpa at the front door holding a snowball behind his back. As always, Deluty’s poems are filled with love, warmth, insight and a dazzling sense of humor."

Copies of "Waiting for the Echo," as well as of Deluty’s other books, are on sale at the UMBC Bookstore.
