Each semester the Center for Art, Design and Visual Culture (CADVC) partners with several K-12 schools and/or after school programs from Baltimore City and area counties. Through our Educational Outreach Program our interns provide instruction in arts curriculum based on CADVC’s exhibition program. This semester the artwork produced was based on CADVC’s exhibition, Dana Hoey: Experiments in Primitive Living. The students’ exhibition, EXPOSURE: Experiments in Photography features work from Baltimore City after-school programs St. Francis Neighborhood Power Project and Banner Neighborhoods Art Club, and area high schools, Baltimore School for the Arts in Baltimore City and Lansdowne High School Academy: Arts & Communications in Baltimore County.
This event will run through April 10 at the 1st Floor Hallway Gallery in the Fine Arts Building. CADVC is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. For more information, call ext. 5-3188.
