The men’s ice hockey team defeated Rider in the MACHA Championship game last weekend to complete an undefeated season. The Retrievers played hard in both playoff games to make up for a lack of ice time due to all of the recent winter weather. Rider entered the championship game determined to pull off their third upset in a row – having defeated Penn State University and Temple University to get to the finals. Congratulations to the UMBC players, coaches, staff and fans on an historic undefeated MACHA season.
