This annual program is a collaborative effort between UMBC and the Maryland College Personnel Association (MCPA). Student Affairs Assessment Day is a high value/low cost opportunity to continue your professional development in tough budget times! To make the event even more affordable and accessible, we have reduced the registration fee for this year to $25; MCPA members can register at the reduced rate of $10.
The event is Thursday, February 25, 9 a.m.-2:45 p.m. This year’s keynote is Marsha Guenzler-Stevens. She will discuss the study of student spirituality that she conducted with an undergraduate student. Through this research, she came to understand that assessment is not only about the end result but the knowledge gained along the way.
The call for programs is currently underway and will continue through Friday, January 22. You can download a program proposal here.
Registration will continue through Monday, February 22, so register online today.
The complete schedule of this year’s sessions will be will be available on the assessment Web site by February 1. More information and past program booklets with session descriptions can also be found there.
