UMBC’s Valentine to faculty and staff is a workshop on heart health.
Heart disease is one of the most common causes of death in American adults. Many of the factors contributing to heart disease are preventable, and you can learn how to reduce your risk of heart disease. In this session you will learn about the risk factors associated with heart disease, which factors are preventable and what you can do to make sure that your heart stays healthy.
The workshop will be Wednesday, February 10, 2-3:30 p.m., in the University Center, Room 312.
