SkillSoft Topic of the Month: Success Over Stress

Contrary to popular belief, stress itself is never a good thing; it is always harmful. This course will show you the difference between pressure, which spurs you into action and helps you to perform at your peak; and stress, which impedes your performance and has long-term health implications. Stress is produced by your own feelings and reactions to external events, rather than by the events themselves. This means that once you recognize how you respond to certain situations, you can change your response to one that is more helpful and productive.
