This year marks the 10th year of the UMBC Visionaries in Information Technology Forum. On November 18, the second of four Forums features Gary Marino, senior vice president of PayPal and general manager of Bill Me Later.
Marino spent nearly 20 years in banking before founding Bill Me Later, a leading alternative payments business. In 2008, Bill Me Later was acquired by eBay’s PayPal unit for nearly $1 billion in the largest venture funded deal of the year.
The forum is free and includes a complimentary breakfast.
The forum is November 18, 7:30-9 a.m., at the Westin Baltimore Washington Airport (1110 Old Elkridge Landing Road, Linthicum, Maryland). The bus leaves for students at 7:15 a.m. Students should meet at the flagpoles by the Administration Building.
