Cathy Cook, Visual Arts, Receives “Best Film” Award

Associate Professor of Visual Arts Cathy Cook received “Best Film” in the Baltimore City Paper’s annual Best of Baltimore issue for her work, “Immortal Cupboard.” The film is “mesmerizing and impressionistic” as it is a musical visual poem about 20th-century poet Lorine Niedecker, who spent most of her life alone in rural Wisconsin.
