The purpose of this group is to engage with a variety of Shakespeare’s texts — to revisit favorites and discover new ones. Readers of all levels and experience are welcome. All that is required is enthusiasm for the works of William Shakespeare.
Our next meeting will consider the comedy “Much Ado About Nothing” on Thursday, October 1, 4:30–6 p.m., in the Albin O. Kuhn Library, Room 214 (The Honors College and Humanities Lounge).
Light refreshments will be served.
Arrive with something to say about this play and a scene you’d like to hear aloud. Bring a copy of the play with you (complete texts available online).
This event is sponsored by UMBC’s Dresher Center for the Humanities and the Department of English.
