Howard Community College (HCC) will be the first community college to offer an arts and science associate of arts public health degree beginning Fall 2009. This program was conceived and developed to articulate directly to UMBC’s Health Administration and Policy Program, public health track. Both the Business Monthly and The Chronicle of Higher
Education mention health administration and policy part-time instructor Jeanette Jeffrey’s Public Health transfer degree at HCC and the link with HAPP at UMBC.
“It Pays to be Nimble,” ran in The Chronicle of Higher Education on August 31.
“HCC Offers Nation’s First Public Health Transfer Degree,” ran in the Business Monthly in September.
