Skip Downing will be conducting a one-day workshop on August 17 from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. in the University Center, Room 312. The Learning Resources Center is proud to sponsor this workshop. Mr. Downing is the author of On Course: Strategies for Creating Success in College and in Life – a book that has been the basis for student success programs across the nation. His student learning (experiential) approach to teaching study and self-discovery skills has a dramatic record of success here at UMBC and in other institutions that give his program the highest praise.
